COURSE GOALS & OBJECTIVES The entire course of study (Pre-requisite + D.S.T.I.M.) prepares one to practice wellness care and traditional and indigenous natural medicine as a ministerial practitioner of conscience. The Diploma program qualifies for Vocational and Medical Authorization via (N.A.I.C., F.N.M.B. (First Nations Medical Board-Tribal Healer . To ensure continued career success, the graduate will continue to learn new and current information related to techniques, trends, and methods for career development in natural medicine and related fields. The graduate will consider this continuing education a fundamental part of spiritual and professional growth and development.
Please Note: The D.S.T.I.M. degree course is designed to be completed in 8 to 12 months! Several students have completed their studies and graduated within 6 to 8 months of enrollment. The discounted tuition, as described, gives unlimited access to the A.C.N.M. online portals for 18 months only. After 18 months, an automatic continuation and access fee of $185.00 per month will be charged until the course is completed, graduation occurs, or the program is voluntarily withdrawn from. Enrollment on a per-month or month-to-month basis is limited to 12 months after the initial 18 months from the original enrollment date. The college believes that 18 months is a generous and sufficient timeframe to complete the A.C.N.M. and D.S.T.I.M. If you require further clarification, we welcome your interest and any additional questions.
There are over 10,000 pages in Herbal Apothecary, Herbal, and Indigenous protocols alone! A valuable library is accessible long after you complete this course of study.
There are 1069 clock hours of academic (online) study. These hours are divided into several course blocks, all delivered in-class at the A.C.N.M. College Campus or Online.
Please Note Regarding Prerequisites: Candidates pursuing NAIC Legal Shield L.C.H.T Holistic License qualification may. At the sole discretion of the program directors, substitute the NAIC Legal Shield Prequalification online course of study for the standard D.S.T.I.M. Prerequisites listed below. The NAIC Legal Shield L.C.H.T. required courses and the curriculum requirements for the Holistic License are in addition to the core D.S.T.I.M. required curriculum. The procedure to request is the same as for “Advanced Placement,” as listed below.

1) SomaVeda® Thai Yoga Practitioner Certification Pre-requisite (164hr.).
2) Advanced Ayurveda Medicine: 200 lessons (Online 180hr.)
Please note that you are limited to taking no more than five courses simultaneously. You cannot add new courses until you complete and pass the preceding course. In addition to their twelve courses, once completed, you have an optional sixteen elective courses for additional credit hours!
ADVANCED PLACEMENT, IMPORTANT Please Note: Enrollees with extensive medical education and/or State Medical Board or other suitable background may be exempted from any or all of the prerequisite courses at the program directors’ sole discretion. Requests for advanced placement must be submitted in writing and are not valid until approved in writing as well.
4) D.S.T.I.M. Program (Online: Four Semesters: 700 hr)
Practitioners of the healing arts, e.g., Licensed Massage therapists, Physical Trainers, Health Coaches, Nutritionists, Acupuncturists, Nurses, etc., may apply for advanced status and life experience. Please do!
The Post-Graduate Doctorate of Arts Degree Program in Traditional & Indigenous Medicine (D.S.T.I.M.) (1069 hours): There are 1069 clock hours of academic (online) study. Healing arts practitioners, e.g., N.D.s, M.D.s, DOs, D.C.s, and others of advanced standing can apply for credits and waivers to qualify for Post-Doctoral placement. Each candidate is appraised on individual status.
Why the two Programs? The Diploma program allows one to make a career change if the candidate only has high school biology and chemistry knowledge.

Does A.C.N.M. participate in or offer Federal or State Financial Aid/ Grants, or Tuition assistance?
No, we do not. As a Private, spiritually based Native American Tribal Organization, Ecclesiastical or Church Seminary, we do not participate in secular or state funding for educational purposes. Instead, our N.A.I.C.: A.C.N.M. Degree programs are on a donation basis, allowing us the freedom to be very generous regarding tuition and scholarships. Considering the current tuition in schools and programs that participate in Federal funding, even if an average student qualified for the maximum in grants and financial aid, they would often still pay out of pocket anywhere from two to ten times A.C.N.M. tuition! Our tuition structure does not leave students with a large amount of student loans to repay after graduation. Most students find that they have recouped multiple times their tuition and expenses before graduation.
