Aesthetic VideoSource wins Bronze Telly Award 2013 for Massage Training Video Series – Thai Acupressure Massage: Feet, Hands & Face featuring Dr. Anthony B. James; SomaVeda® Thai Yoga.
Salt Lake City, UT— Dr. Anthony B. James is back again. The top recognized Thai Yoga master outside of Thailand, Dr. James, DNM(C), ND(T), MD(AM), RAC, SMOKH, has set the professional standards and certifications programs in the U.S. He’s paired once more with Aesthetic VideoSource to win a Bronze Telly Award for a massage training series on Thai Acupressure Massage. He provides training for massage therapists who use a massage table or work on a traditional Thai massage mat on the floor. The comprehensive massage training 2 DVD set is 5 Hrs. 28 Mins.
#1: Bronze Telly Award : Non-Broadcast Productions: Thai Acupressure Massage: Feet, Hands & Face for the Mat (2 Hrs. 47 Mins.)
#2: Bronze Telly Award : Non-Broadcast Productions: Thai Acupressure Massage: Feet, Hands & Face for the Table (2 Hrs. 47 Mins.)
In each DVD, Dr. James demonstrates a complete acupressure facial and treatments for the extremities, so massage therapists can provide these procedures according to their treatment room setting. Dr. James also discusses the origins of these techniques; chakras, lom and marma points, and Sen lines; benefits and contraindications; and, how to market these offerings.
With the facial, massage therapists can help balance energy, bring a nurturing awareness to the client, and enhance circulation, including arterial/venous and lymphatic. It can be provided as a complex decongestive therapy for lymphatic edema, swelling, and fluid retention around the neck, head, and face. Thai acupressure facial also reduces areas of low oxygen and spasm. For example, it is useful in addressing such issues as TMJ.
The reflexology treatments likewise offer rejuvenating benefits from increased circulation. The treatments will help correct dehydration, edema, swelling of the joints, and lack of motion. The reflexology treatments are also deeply relaxing and nurturing. The other benefit of reflexology is the mapped correlations to other parts of the body, so you balance the organs, promote circulation, and balance the chakras and energy lines throughout by just working the hands and feet. You can get these benefits just working the hands alone, or the feet alone, or together.
“A big selling point is that Thai acupressure facial helps tone and restructure the face, providing a nonsurgical, noninvasive face lift,” says Dr. James. “And, of course, your clients will appreciate these deeply relaxing treatments.”
Dr. James’s life focus is teaching Thai massage. He is an amazing instructor who explains and demonstrates each technique so that you can easily grasp the concepts and repeat them.
Dr. James, the only western Master Instructor to be recognized by the Royal Thai government and recipient of the “Friend of Thailand” Award, has taught and certified over 6000 practitioners since 1984, including many well-known teachers established today.
He is the founder and Director of Education for The SomaVeda College of Natural Medicine and The Thai Yoga Center, home of the ONACS/ SomaVeda College of Natural Medicine: Thai Yoga Center (ONACS INC/ SCNM/ Thai Yoga Center). He is the Director of Education of ONACS, Oklevueha Native American Church of SomaVeda located in Plant City, Florida and is also the Director of Clinical Services, the Missionary Clinic and the Wellness Center.
