The NAIC Sacred Ceremony is one of many traditional healing tools used by Native Americans in addition to a whole host of related alternative and complimentary therapies. The sweat and the idea of purification and or detoxification by sweating is an ancient practice of Native American Medicine and Sacred Natural Medicine which is also in various forms practiced by many different indigenous, traditional and native cultures such as Thailand, India, North and South America. Additionally sweats serve other valuable purposes such as providing a teaching model for forming meaningful relations with Mother Earth and the wider ecosystem. Building community. Bringing relief to those suffering from Spiritual, Mental, Emotional and or physical illness.

The sacred sweat is a perfect adjunct and compliment to any healing regimen based on natural principles regardless of specific condition.
